Game #3

Today was game #3 of the tournament. It was impossible to get any good pictures at this game. This was one of the worst fields we have played at so far. I think they must have been under construction or something because instead of a metal fence all the way around the softball field, they had some sort of orange mesh stuff and there were no covers over the dugouts!! The game started off pretty even and by the end of the 3rd inning the score was only 6 to 3 with Hatboro in the lead. Alexis struck out her first time up to bat. (very disappointing in Alexis' world, almost devastating!!). BY the time we hit the 5th inning something started to change and all of the girls started really hitting. Alexis had a double and a triple. Bringing home 3 runners with each hit. She sure has come a long way since T ball. The game ended in the 5th inning with the ten run rule again. The final score was 22 to 4.

Tuesday will be game #4 at home against Cheltenham. Can't wait to see what happens with that one!!! Word is they have an awesome pitcher!!
