Last night was game #4 at home vs. Cheltenham. This game started out great and we were only behind by 2 points up until the 4th inning. Alexis was at her normal position on 1st base. In the 3rd inning our catcher was so overheated that she nearly passed out, from there things had to be all changed around and Alexis got shuffled to catcher. Our team played so hard, but I think the shuffling of positions really threw our team for a loop. Cheltenham had an excellent pitcher and despite all of the girls best efforts we lost this one. This time we were the team that lost due to the 10 run rule. The final score was 2 to 12. At the end of pool play we are in 4th place which means we still advance to the next round. Next game will be on Saturday vs. Horsham who at the moment is undefeated!!!!
I think Marissa is getting a little tired of all the running around for Alexis' games. It was so hot yesterday and it took some convincing to even get her to smile for this picture!!
I didn't get many good pictures at this game. To many distractions with the baby and feeling nervous for Alexis.
Jillian was a little fussy this time. I think it was because of the heat. But overall she was happy. I can't wait til she is old enough to play ball!!!!
