District 22's

The first game of district 22 tournament was tonight at home vs. Upper Moreland. The girls were so psyched to start to try to bring the flag home for our team. The first 4 innings went great. We were up by 4 points, and then in the 5th inning they began to catch up. After all was said and done the final score was 14 to 19. It was a tough loss, but there were some great plays made. Alexis had a triple in the 5th and managed to stop alot of the plays at 1st base! Tomorrow we are off to Plymouth for game # 2.

Most of the time Marissa doesn't want to go to Alexis' games. She gets so upset that Alexis doesn't show up for many of her games. Unfortunately Marissa is drug to all of Alexis' games and practices since she is to young to stay home alone. She is always saying how Alexis doesn't "support" her. But this year Alexis was at all of her tournament games and so today Marissa was really excited to put her uniform on eventhough her games are all finished. She said she wore it to support Alexis and was calling herself their mascott. Alexis' coach was nice enough to let Marissa help out during the practices these past few weeks.

Ed's cousin Katie who also plays softball was over at the field tonight to cheer on the minor players!

Can't wait for tomorrow nights game!!!!
